Admission: I did not prepare any of my meals today. I only lifted a finger in the kitchen to brew some coffee (yesterday’s ground organic breakfast blend from Weg-World with some pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract).
“Brunch” — an excursion to Panera for the new roasted turkey artichoke panini and roasted turkey harvest salad. And obviously a chocolate chip muffie.
Then, in attempts to happen upon a story for our magazine class, Sarah and I drove to Skaneateles. We very clearly did not succeed in our mission. After walking the streets aimlessly awaiting some sort of reporters’ epiphany, we opted instead for a hot date and I ordered up this —
While we made no academic progress, it proved to be a perfect extension to the weekend (why is it over?).
And here’s something — I stopped to grab a paper since I have a story in it today — and naturally I paid for Saturday’s paper instead. Oops.
